Conan Stevens

I haven't watched the movie and the question should be posted elsewhere;
Why is Conan Stevens not anymore Gregor Clegane in GOT ? He was just perfect for the role.

I can't help but like him, but I've heard that he was not easy to work with. Wanted more of a fight scene with Sandor, and tried to get some lines. Didn't want to be on the show for the sake of being on the show, but more for getting a foot in the door at the Hobbit.

I liked Conan Stevens in this movie. Despite playing an evil weaksauce version of Thor that's not accurate to mythology (the mythological version required special gloves to wield Mjolnir, rode on a chariot drawn by goats, wore a belt that doubled his strength, etc.) he still played him off as a badass who had a legitimate reason for going against humanity (humanity is abandoning the Aesir and the Vanir for Christianity and Thor is PO'ed over that) rather than just "I'm evil! Har har har!" and unlike the Marvel version, he is red-headed instead of blonde, has red eyes, and has a nasty temper just like the mythological version. He in fact has everything over the Marvel version except for the lack of strength, no goat-drawn chariot, and a silly-looking Mjolnir. Both have silly looking helmets, btw, but I'm not complaining about that.
