God bless......

A washed up has-been whose wife desperately needs him to stay relevant in order to fuel her constant greed.

Seriously, I used to be a HUGE Ozzy fan, but let's be honest. Todays Ozzy is merely at best a caricature of himself. He hasn't put out a good, solid album since No More Tears, his voice is shot......The band has to detune a whole step or a step and a half just because he can't sing like he used to. And finally, in my opinion, watching a barely coherent Senior Citizen roll and jump around on stage like he did 30-40 years ago is PATHETIC.

Just admit to yourself that you're just a shell of your former self, Ozzy. Then beat your greedy heartless *beep* of a wife into a coma. Your twilight days will be better for it.

Some may never live, but the crazy never die.

Agree, as Neil Youg said:-

"I'ts better to burn out than to fade away".

...but Kurt Cobain really didn't have to take it literally.

You just sound like a total moron, and a dumb one at that.

The fact that you expect him to still come up with good albums and sing well, in his SIXTIES! just shows how clueless you are. He actually IS a senior citizen! which is something to be proud of, you seem to think it's some kind of insult which shows just how moronic you are.

If he feels like he can still perform and some people still seem to like the performances, then what's wrong with him doing it? He might not be as vigorous as it was but so what? If you don't like it, don't buy his stuff and don't go to his shows. What's hard to figure out about that? He is doing what he loves and entertaining those who still like to see him. The only pathetic one is you.

This is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. You know Rush is in their late 50's and their latest album is amazing.

but his wife is the one continuing to keep him in some role of what he used to be.

As himself, he seems totally cool still in my opinion, and I think he would probably just sit back and enjoy his time, if it wasn't for her (and possibly others wanting to make money of his name) pushing him into these projects.

I'd like to see some stuff, that he himself wanted to do, and had full control over, with no other greedy people interfering.

I somewhat agree. It's ridiculous how they still try to make money off of Ozzy's name. All the TV commercials, the new radio channel named after Ozzy (where they constantly play his music, but he himself has barely made any appearance), and seems like there will be another Ozzy documentary : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1293839

Ozzy has become a cash cow. Seems like there are people who are constantly thinking how to make more money out of his name.

I like his music, but this constant Ozzy praising is ridiculous! In the meantime, they are taking all the credit from the people who actually wrote his music!

Out of all the different types of music I listen to I can easily say I listen to old Ozzy and Sabbath the most. And even though he can still put on a good short show and sing better than most the younger vocalists out there, I have to agree with you on most of what you say.

The Osbournes show was a travesty. I remember hanging out and partying sometimes and that show would come on and everyone would laugh and enjoy it while it actually made me sick to my stomach, to see such a great be treated and filmed to the world as a retard. His wife is the meaning of greed, but she did save him from death back in the limbo he was in after Sabbath, so I have to give her some credit. But yes, her greed is sickening.

The self-titled, Paranoid, Vol 4, the We Sold Our Souls compilation. Then early Ozzy, Bark at the Moon being my fav, about to Tears like you say, even though I rarely listen to that album or Wicked, was gold. Then it just went downhill minus a few good songs.

It will be a sad day when Ozzy dies, but in a way, he is already dead.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing Black Sabbath in Austin on July 27th...

So how was Sabbath? I had to work when they played near me. "13" is so much better than I expected it to be.

As for this documentary, it's a nearly perfect look at a man who by all accounts should have been dead decades ago. I'm glad he's not. 9/10 stars from me.

This documentary well illustrates how fame can be random and bestow sainthood on even the most mediocre of talents. Never underestimate the elements of luck and timing in establishing and maintaing a career. At least Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons had uncanny business and promotion skills to push them across and keep them alive. "God Bless . ." truly affirms the notion that without Sharon, there would have been no lasting career and likely no Ozzy walking among us today. The guy truly has been blessed.
