I was wondering the exact same thing. They barely sounded like they were from any part of that part of the world let alone Ireland.

The aristocracy didn't have Irish accents. The daughters had English nannies and governesses who taught them elocution lessons, and the sons were sent away to school in England to make sure they acquired the correct English Received Pronunciation.
