Hearts just not in it anymore...

They aren't even trying to value out the lockers anymore. It pretty much stops when they get to the planted item, and set up the visit to the appraiser.

This can happen nowadays with 90% of the locker not looked at. Like people are really paying $200 a month to store mostly ZERO value stuff in the back of their lockers. Packed with nothing but 100 boxes of valueless stuff? Really? Why would they do this?

My theory...

They don't want the back stuff gone through! It's props. It can be used over and over as long as they don't show it in full detail. If they do show an item dragged out then when you see that exact same thing 3 episodes later..you'd know.

If they don't go through 3/4+ of the lockers, it can all be packed up in trucks and moved right over to the next shooting location.

Interesting theory. I went back and watched the first season. Jarrod and Brandi were really into it because it was their business on the line. Now they have wads of cash and don't care anymore. Watch season 7 and 8. They don't buy 90% of the time and just hang out, collecting a paycheck.
Darrell and Brandon are the only two who seem to still find enjoyment from buying lockers.

It has been fake nonsense from the start. It was just more entertaining when it was new and you didn't know any better. After 100 times seeing a worthless junk locker produce that savior item in the back corner it gets to be too much.
