so bad it was actually enjoyable ! spoiler alert

I mean, lmao at the acting in this one,i thought the French producer who actually produced the controversial "baise moi" (a brutal hardcore porn drama/thriller)
wanted to do a thai version of karate kid just more brutal.
English speaking thai girl gang were hilarious and the leader a 50+ years
"French" opera practising diva
I couldnt stop laughing!it really should be rated as a martial arts/comedy like kung pow
the only serious thing in this film were the fight scenes,i find a few of them to be fresh with some new ideas,
I liked the fpw fight scene in the beginning and the fight with muay thai boxers in corrupt police hq the lift scene was nicely done and also the car fight added something new in the genre
then we had the out of place horror movie music playing when the main characters had sex it was just weird lol
Then the thais in this film also seemed to have adopted some kind of american thug attitude
sounding more like asian/american streetgangs in u.s then gangsters in Bangkok
I see some kind of weird resemblance with the 80.s cult classic The Last Dragon (1985) were all the asians were acting like black rap gangsters and the black guys were like asians
while this film cant compare,or even come close to the greatness of that film.

The story could have worked out well,i think the first part of the film was quite serious and if they had removed the cheezy parts and hired better actors it could have been a much better film since the theme of revenge never gets old in any movie ever.

Also a lot of unnecessary scenes in this one that did little or nothing to develop story or characters imo
the fight scene at bar,two farangs beating each other, one is so fat that they had to keep his shirt on and the other is smoking a cigarette and drinking half a bottle of whisky before fight, his condition should be horrible but then suddenly proves to be a former possible"savate" practising French ex-detective who is super fit and can fight with bad guys like a pro after running two blocks, lol !
then we have the weird sex scene that I mentioned earlier seemed really out of place and the washed up 50 years+ leader women singing opera what was that for?
another funny thing i found hilarious was, that the only persons in this film that actually grew older, seemed to be the nurse, the master, and the kid,the gangsters still look as young as when he was a kid and the house looks exactly the same as it did 20+ years ago even the same sheets he slept in as a kid for crying out loud, and i find it very hard to belive that in Bangkok were population is steady growing
a house can stand "untouched" for 20+ years or so without someone else moving in,when previous owners were all "dead".
omg ! i could go on for half a day with the plot holes

still it was a funny and enjoyable movie because of the uplifting fight scenes they were ok imo and then for the comic relief experienced
i laughed really hard at some parts.
but if you are into martial arts/action movies like this and really want to see some breathtaking fight scenes from thailand produced films
I can recommend you a few
(i will not mention Tony jaa films)
you should watch:
Bangkok knock out
raging phoenix
Bangkok Adrenaline
Chocolate zen
Muay Thai Chaiya
Yamada the samurai of Ayothaya
Phew! a lot of Bangkok this and that in the movie titles, whats up with that btw?
to long comment about a mediocre B-movie,but thats what happens when you are bored.
