Sunny's Masquerade

When Sunny showed up at the gold dealer with a mustache and dark glasses, I wondered if he was trying to pass himself off as Dawood Ibrahim. In fact, I wonder if the actor was cast specifically for his suitability for that scene. Was in supposed to be an in joke for Indians who are probably more familiar with how Dawood Ibrahim looks?
