Episode: Comic-Con-flict, Joss Whedon as 'fanboy'

This may be a stupid question, but was the Joss Whedon playing the 'fanboy' in this episode ? Sure looked like him to me, but he was not in the credits.....
Does anyone know who DID play the fanboy part ?
