I was really looking forward to looking at Karen Gilland in the new season of ntsf but she's just so bad. I feel like she is kinda ruining the show for me.
shareI wasn't familiar with her before she started on NTSF, but her whole "Gadget Girl" thing on "Burn After Killing" was the best part of the episode in my opinion.
shareThey use her character to explain what is going on in the show. They give
her too many lines and make her say them way too fast. Since she is always
talking (rapidly) she doesn't have a chance to do any acting. At least they
were smart enough to put her in short skirts.

I gave her a chance, but she's ruining the show for me, too. The character is irritating in first instance, but Gillan lacks the comic timing of the others; there's no chemistry there. It's like she's trying too hard or something. If there's another series, hopefully they'll find someone else or, better yet, bring back Jessie.
shareShe was jarring at first, and it was like they were trying to shoe-horn her in with pointless dialogue, but I feel like she definitely found her place after 4 or 5 episodes.
I do miss Jessie though.
I guess she had to shave her head and paint herself blue first.
