To actually suggest it publically...

...that there may be government entities involved/interested in the subject of Bigfoot for relatively nefarious reasons was an interesting choice to include in this film. Trying to recall if such a thing has been suggested before in any related movies or television shows.

If true, it would certainly put a new slant on all the stories ever heard from alleged eyewitnesses claiming to have been visited afterwards by people "suggesting" that they didn't see what they claim to have seen and that it would be in their best interests not to mention the matter further.
