Can someone explain this?

This has nothing to do with the movie itself. A couple of days ago, this movie was rated 8.1 with around 45,000 votes if i remember correctly, and today suddenly its rating changed to 9.0 with 28,000 votes. Does anybody know the reason? Have imdb accounts been deleted? The ratings of a few other movies like Nanban, Eega have seen similar effects.

I don't think the number of votes changed that drastically - but it definitely had an average of around 8.1 a few days ago. IMDb just changed the minimum # of votes for Top 250 eligibility (from 3,000 to 25,000), and while I don't think that had anything directly to do with it I'm guessing they made some other changes to the database as well, and perhaps they did some housecleaning of 'suspect' votes or something like that.

Votes are obviously fake.
You can see this in any other Turkish movie.
There are hardly any Turks discussing it, yet voting count is of 50K and counting strong almost an year after its release.
Mayne it's some kind of PR campaign

Turkish movies and Indian movies are overrated by people of those nations. Unreliable.
