EXACTLY. Look at America (the continent). It's a historical fact that within 100 years of 'colonizing' the Americas, the White Europeans had killed 95% of the indigenous population. Today, there are virtually no Native Americans left (the few that live are ignored and squeezed into decaying reservations).

This is the story with every 'conquest' the West has made. They colonized Africa and transported 20 million+ Africans as slaves to America. Of these 20 million, 9 million died.

Today, North Africa speaks French, South America and the Philippines Spanish, and Africa, America, etc, are all Christian. This is the result of the genocidal policies of the West.

If the Ottomans had followed the same policies, all of Eastern Europe would be Muslim today and the Arab world and half of Europe would speak Turkish. The Ottomans had 600+ years to do what the Europeans did in America in 100 years.

Instead, the Ottomans let people worship their own religions and established a system in which minorities like Armenians and Greeks became wealthy and attained power.

So it is ridiculous that the Western Whites make thousands of movies representing their genocidal acts as heroism (the heroic cowboy vs the savage native), and yet when a movie is made about the Ottomans (who have no such genocidal history), everybody (in the West) has to attack it.

So you are right. Today, the Turks are paying the price for being too 'human' and too "good" by ironically being called a host of nasty names by the hypocritical West.

and could you please tell me, if you watched the movie? and if you have can you please tell me, what the name of the man is who has put the flag on top of the castle? and if you cant give me an answer, why the hell are you trying to tell that it is misinterpretation of the history and what do you know about the history of "OUR OWN COUNTRY" and if you have watched the movie and still think that it misinterpretation of the history is, i respect your thoughts but i also would like to know which part of the movie does not fit with the history?

Yes, Balkan people, and most of Europe has very bad opinion about Turkish expansionism (to say so).
I think that for modern people such expansionism - attack and conquer is something barbarian, outdated etc. Really, don't remember any other movie where it was glorified as in Fetih. Not even close.
During whole movie we seen some pretty much unbelievable things, dialogs etc.
But culminataion was the very end, in Sofia - that was really pathetically bad.
Not to mention that contradicts to many told - expansionism was dictated by Kuran, Mohammed. In what purpose ? To spread 'right religion' - and they spread it on occupied territories well - depending on actual lord on some area it was sometimes suptile, sometimes brutal. How otherwise explain that most of people in Sandzak (Serbian region) is muslim ?
Not to mention that every nation get rid of 'good' Turks by time.
I see real problems in attitude here .
