shareI must agree with Trarloe here. Lawrance of Arabia was full of anti-Turkish propaganda too. Clearly in the Western movies there is a form of Orientalism. (Google the term if you don't know what it is). Yet these western movies are considered as very good movies. But when an Eastern movie uses the same techniques and elements in his movie, people of the Western society tend to downgrade the movie. If Occudentalism should be downgraded, so should Orientalism be downgraded. Since I don't see this happening in IMDB, one could say that there is a double standard going on then.
