Sir Hallam and the Duke

I always enjoy the scenes whenever Sir Hallam and the Duke of Kent talked about their families, political issues of the day, etc. But one thing that always bug me was how close the personal space and body language of the two whenever the Duke and Hallam gets together (see Episode 2.1 when the Duke asked Hallam to deliver a letter written by his brother to Hitler or Episode 2.2 when they shared martini at that club) .

I wonder if this implies that the two might have a relationship with each other, long before they're married to their respective spouses. It's clearly established that the Duke was at least bisexual, if not secretly gay (see his profile at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_George,_Duke_of_Kent#Personal_life ). And we know that one of his mates was definitely gay when he asked Johnny to have sex with him for money in the locker room on Episode 2.4 and Johnny gave him a punch in his nose instead .

Thus, I wonder if Sir Hallam and the Duke shared more than just a close friendship in their early life (perhaps during their Eton years)?? Unfortunately, we would never find out now that the show has been cancelled :-(.

Well, that's probably right. I suppose that we'll not find out the answers anytime soon.

But if the real Sir Hallam and the Duke of Kent resembled Ed and Blake at all, then the temptation to resist each other had to be mammoth in scope and frustration.

Anyway, who could possibly resist either?

I actually came on here to look at comments to see if anyone else felt this way. I never thought they were alluding to a former relationship but I definitely got a strong Homosexual chemistry between the two. From how close they are to the camera angles during their scenes. Even their phone calls.
