will they make a movie about mass massacre in Rwanda or is it too racist

will they make a movie about mass massacre in Rwanda or is it too racist? A million people were chopped to pieces and some of them must be white.

Ooooooh! Nice idea! maybe we could set it entirely in a hotel for foreigners. And we could use the perspective of the native hotel employees to tell the story, maybe even focus on the hotel manager! We could hire that Don Cheadle fellow as I hear he is a great actor! but what on earth could we call this movie? Well it is set in Rwanda and in a hotel...how about Hotel Rwanda!

reply

Omg. Thank you. THANK YOU. I don't know if the OP was being sarcastic. I won't assume but my first thought literally was "uh... like Hotel Rwanda?" I love your answer so much better though

He wasnt being sarcastic to ME. I think YOU should reread my comment.

I said i dont know if the OP as in the Original Poster was being sarcastic. Read everything not just half

Let me break my quote down for you cause clearly you cant comprehend. Kay?

I said i didnt know the OP (which stands for original poster...as in the person that started this particular post. Not the person that replied) was being sarcastic. As he/she said there should be a movie about a mass massacre in rwanda. And asked if it would be too racist. THAT PERSON. is who i was refering to as my not sure if they were being sarcastic you twit

Second thing i said. "My first thought 'you mean like Hotel Rwanda?"'

The last thing i said. "But i like your answer so much better" THAT was for the person that i replied to.

I dont know how else to break it down for you if you dont understand just sit back and stop insulting me for something YOU dont understand. thank you. I wasnt trying to insult you but clearly you didnt understand and proceeded to try to insult me.

It's fine. I just didn't appreciate you insulting my intelligence. I can appreciate someone who can apologize. :D

I wonder if theyll read this & say that awkward moment when I wasted my life readin a signature. :\

reply

Hahaha Snakeprophet!! You're a genius! That was truly funny. I guess we should feel sorry for the OP, bless their little hearts and tinier minds.

reply

How about casting John Hurt and call it Shooting Dogs.

Its that man again!!

reply

Damn those movies sound familiar. They.....they weren't about the Rwanda massacre, were they? I heard of one about a hotel in Rwanda but that was just about a hotel right??

reply

Nah...the genocide started in April - let's cast Idris Elba and call it "Sometimes in April"! That would be perfect, don't ya think?

reply

Why would that be "racist"?

reply

because extreme liberals view making any minority society look bad as being racist.

reply

Uhh...Hotel Rwanda???

Granted it was very censored.

The odds of a movie like that getting made these days are slim and near impossible, especially graphic.

The only acceptible genocides are when it's played-out white man (England's tyranny, Nazi regime, etc).

<sarcasm>
Well of course its fine to genocide white people! You cant be racist towards white people! Only white people can be racist!
</sarcasm>

*HINT* I maybe sarcastic but there are people out there that actually believe you cant be racist towards white people.

Another racist idiot for the ignore list. Thanks nww12973 for the heads up.

They did. It's called Hotel Rwanda. It's a good flick.

Why would it have to be racist? Do you just have some political ax to grind?

reply

"They did. It's called Hotel Rwanda. It's a good flick."

I actually never saw this film back when it was getting heat for being a bunch of bigoted white people being hunted by mindless foreign zombies thing. So when I recently saw it, All I could think was if Hotel Rwanda was a cheap horror film this would be it. I don't think it deserves the it's racist cliche that everyone gives it. It just wasn't trying to be anything other than a horror film. It sucked. It was like watching a bad Bourne film, a bad Hotel Rwanda rip off, and a bad REC clone.
