I kinda disliked 2 but I love the first. I'm a big Rock fan. But This one does seem to be good because it includes some people I'd like to see work together. I also like that they are starting to touch up on the Mummy series. I would've liked to see the reprise of the Rock's role as Mathayus. The title just sounds like it could lead to the downfall of the Scorpion King, as seen in the beginning of The Mummy Returns, so it being a sequel would be better in my eyes (*cough* with The Rock *cough*). I would've also loved a video game sequel. Yes, the graphics weren't great and controls weren't so great either but it included things I love, mythical creatures and Godsmack. haha

This movie sounds terrible. They need to start coming up with original ideas and stop making prequels and sequels to already tired premises. I understand it's all about money but when will Hollywood learn that movies like this just wont ever work? Mark my words, this movie will have it's premiere at a Redbox near you within the next couple of months. I love Ron Perlman but he makes some terrible movies sprinkled in with the good ones. Season of the Witch and now this? Come on man. Just move to a smaller and more affordable house so you don't have to do god awful movies just to cover your adjustable rate mortgage.

I hate the mummy series and I thought the Scorpion King spinoff was equally as lame. Just to bank on some extra dough some big hollywood exec decides, "hey! Lets take a secondary character from this super crappy Mummy film and give him his own series!" Douchebags. Both series are superficial and insubstantial. Whatever happened to making movies for artistic reasons instead of force feeding audiences these weak and flaky special effects action films for money?

I hope this film bombs. I hex it with such bad luck that the production company, the distributor, and everyone involved loses money.

P.S. I didn't mind Season of the Witch too much. It wasn't a great film, but not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. In my opinion it was a 1000x better than all three Mummy garbage and both Scorpion King films combined.

I just finished watching it. It's the kind of dreck that inexplicably becomes a cult classic just for being so cheese ball bad.

So I'm sitting here, trying to finish this film after turning it off after 20 minutes a year ago. So I came here to the messages and saw this post's tagline and thought "I feel really bad for this guy and then saw the name and I completely forgot that it was ME! D: Though this movie is absolutely atrocious, I stand by what I said. If it would've been taken seriously, could've been a big film that correctly led to the events of The Mummy Returns. I enjoy Action-Adventure flicks but wow... This attempt was saddening.
