Ron Pealrman

will make anything for a few bucks, and the sad thing he doest have to. Surely the money he makes for all these films would be enough to just chill out for a while and wait for the next decent high budget script to come his way...apparently not.

He really wasn't in a whole lot of the movie, considering after a little over a half hour into it, Ron's character vanishes until the very last scene. My guess is he probably only did a few days of filming, maybe a week at most. It was probably an easy check for a role he could phone in with a smile, had the time to kill, figured what the hell. Just look at Bob Hoskins, he shot five days worth of stuff for the mini-series Neverland, why's it so surprising when a direct-to-DVD movie or mini-series gets one or two big names?

"Just tell the minister, I'm gonna be a few minutes late". *Cue John Williams' Superman theme*

It's not a surprise, Ron has been doing these c grade things for many years now in-between the bigger roles he also constantly gets. He's a unique figure and a good actor, so will always have roles offered to him, however he does bring down his own value I believe be agreeing to do soo many mediocre films just for the money.

Of course if he needs the money then I cant knock him for that, but surely he must be loaded by now. I do like how he played a jewish gangster in Drive and played a neo nazi vampire in Blade, the man has range i'll give him that.

Maybe Ron Pearlman is a great guy who likes to make movies. Everyone has to start somewhere and maybe Pearlman saying yes is helping someone get a start on this particular film. IDK. Many A list actors are just that because they caught a break. Got cast on that cheesy sitcom that got them noticed. Appeared in a movie with little or no notice that turned into a sleeper hit and its cast into stars. But some actors take roles that give someone else a chance. Maybe Pearlman being in it helped with the money. Maybe he was doing someone a favor. I like him. I've always like him. He seems like a regular joe vs a movie star. There are plenty of actors like him. Acting is their job. If there's a job offer they take it.
