Even fast-forwarded this overly-introspective snore-fest was virtually unwatchable, uninteresting, and completely bereft of drama.

I felt the same. Zombie movies are suppose to be adrenaline rushes. Not two guys sitting in a cabin talking for 15 minutes.

No movies are suppose to be anything. Every movie is his own movie.

The first half was rather good but by the second half I was nodding off. Never got to finish it, disappeared from Netflix when I went back to do so.

I did not dislike the film, (I gave it 6 out of 10), but someone really needs to take a scissor to this thing and cut out around 20 to 30 minutes. I think that would really help with the pacing. I usually like slower more introspective films, but this was a little too slow moving and self important for it's own good.
