Amazing Movie

I was lucky enough to see this movie yesterday at the Traverse City Film Festival and it was amazing. Thank you for sharing it with us. It was an eye opener seeing what these brave men and women endure to do a job they love so much.

They should use their skills fighting areas worth defending, Detroit ain't one of them.

Let it all burn to the ground.

Hey i'm tired of Fing Detroit to, its a crap hole of the USA (more than Florida and New York combined). But those fire fighters/EMT are still people trying to save their home city even if the City/county there doesn't give a damn. Personally they earned a ton of respect from me including the regular civilian folks trying to carve a life out up there. The same thing is happening in my hometown of Charlotte NC. I've watched all the folks from the New England states, mid west and Below the southern border destroy what I once held dear and if I were about seven years younger (thirty nine now/32 cut off age) I'd apply to the CMFD and have these guys attitudes about it being my home.

Bravo to the men and women of Detroit for not rolling over like a little bitch and showing us all if we love something dear keep fighting for it at all costs. Also noticed Dennis Leary was an executive director, oddly enough was thinking one minute before it showed suck on that Leary ya Irish bastard. The NYFD can kiss the DFD collective butts. Of course Leary's name pops up and and its I should of known.

That's my home you're talking about douche bag. Do you even live in Detroit? I'm sick and tired of suburban yuppies talking about how Detroit should just burn to the ground when they've never even set foot in the city limits.

As far as the Detroit Fire Department goes they are putting their skills toward something worth saving. Their home. They get paid next to nothing for what they do. What we should really do is take away the City Councils over indulged salaries and give it to the fire department.

It ranks right next to Lone Survivor as the best film I've seen in 2013/early 2014. My respect goes to the men and women fighting to save a city in decay that no one cares about.
