You shouldn't go around breaking and entering people's homes. Especially in Texas where they can legally shoot you. Ok maybe they didn't deserve to be killed but they deserved to be punished severely.

I agree. Legally you can shoot someone IN YOUR HOME, and they must be facing you, according to TX law.
Thats why when the black officer confronted Ely about where he shot him.
Officer: You shot him as he was running away from your house and outside near this fense?

It's legal in Texas to throw a kid down the stairs and break his neck with your foot if he's in your house and not threatening you ? Cool !
