I thought Donald Sutherland retired from acting some years ago?

Didn't he say The Italian Job was going to be his last film?

That wasn't a film so doesn't count.

He was in the Hunger Games recently.

That was probably a misconception. I think what Mr. Sutherland meant to say was 'The Italian Job' was his last "decent" film, then persued to make abominations such as this one.

I can think of at least two reasons; he does it to stay active and it pays the bills and maybe he needs to make money to do other things at this point in his life. Keep up the good work, Mr. Sutherland.
