The worst action movie I've ever watched.

This is a type of 'shot them all by a chick' flick which I believe only satisfies people who don't know anything about basic standards of acting or plot.Everything was so stupid that I am not going to waste my time writing about that.

also the chic who is the assassin couldn't act at all - she was so freaking wooden and sorry she wasn't even pretty -- i'll stick w/nikita and Maggie Q anyday bc at least she can freaking act and has a good mentor for teaching her jackie chan...again slater shoulda passed this piece of crap up unless he needed the money; hollywood should be hiring slater for A plus movies bc he is so damn talented and deserves better than this piece of crap!

Agreed. Slater and Sutherland are obviously attempting to pad their retirement accounts. Can't blame them, I guess.

But this sad film is not worth viewing.

reply

more like a belly dancing promotional video than an action movie ;[

reply

Agreed, tho if belly dancing promotion was its intention, better as it is at that than as a decent film, it still sucked lol...the 3 'stars' cant possably have made enough from this to be worth the tarnishing of their reputations surely?
oesnt matter how good the actor is, when a script is as bad as this one no one could have made it worth listening to, and the 3 in this are no exception.

reply

the belly dancing was awful - I don't think it promoted belly dance. If anything, it degraded the art form.

Come to think of it, the movie kind of degraded the art of film as well...

Very much agreed. 2 Slater movies in one week is enough for me. Watched Soldier of Fortune before this one. Never seen a movie with decent actors led by such a putz commando in Slater. Ugh, then this one.

agree 2..at least Soldier of Fortune ..is better.....but both..sucks!!!

Has anyone noticed that all 4 movies of the main producers (Mutressa Movies) feature this Elika Portnoy (Vicky in the movie), where she herself is also a producer, story-writer etc? And that her only role in a movie, which isn't made by Mutressa, is as "Fashionable Woman" (sic)?
And considering "mutressa" means "mistress of a crime-boss" in Bulgarian - yeah, I think I can agree with one comment about the movie that it's probably a money-laundring scheme. Which is a shame. Especially for my country (I'm Bulgarian as well), which would thus have an even harder time getting rid of this stereotype (which is, indeed, a stereotype, considering I've lived here for 26 years and have never had any problems with organized or even unorganized crime myself).

I don't know about the notion that it's some kind of money laundering scheme, but the moment I saw some crazy producer credit in the beginning ("Mutressa Movies"... really? What/who?) I immediately figured out it's just some vanity piece. Some rich dude wanted to put together a movie that starred someone in his family or a girl he wanted to get.

The fact that whoever financed this was able to get some higher caliber stars is interesting.

I would have bought your money-laundering notion had it not been for the fact that if that was the goal, the movie probably would have been a whole lot worse and had zero actors with any kind of name recognition.

Plus, the idea of the plot itself wasn't terrible... a Femme Nikita type of thing going on, with the twist that the assassin has dissociative disorder/MPD.

The way the story progressed was muddy, but it had enough hints of detail to make me think they were at least trying, although it fell flat anyway.

If you've seen enough genuinely bad movies, you start to separate the ones where they really tried and were just bad at it, versus the ones where they apparently gave up even trying and just phoned it in. :)

Not too long into the film, it looked like one more of those bad D movies where the producer or director or male lead used an "actress" that they were having sex with or wanted to have sex with. I hate these B.S. wiener movies. It's pathetic that they can't get laid unless they put the girl in a crappy movie.

They shot this movie in Bulgaria, nuff said. (I'm originally from there, so...).
When you see "Filming Location: Bulgaria", just skip that crap.
I won't even bother to download it...
