This should be marked as horror/comedy

I found it hilarious several times and had a few good laughs watching this film. It's not a bad thing, not at all. The comedy made it watchable because it fills the void between the gaps of logic.

A lot of people finds it disturbing because of all the kid kills. I found it kind of refreshing for the genre. (Getting tired of the "group of teens in the woods"-victims.)

Anyhow, call me psycho for my opinions, may I burn in hell, sure. But it doesn't change the fact that this is an enjoyable horror/comedy with some fresh ideas. Perfect sundaynight movie (y)

Kids dying can be funny if done right. One of the funniest scenes in Planet Terror was that kid accidentally blowing his own head off when left alone with a handgun.

If it had been done right and the children werent stupid even tho they werent written as stupid and not every single kid in town can be as stupid, then I would agree, but after watching the best written kid in horror history in ¨The Babadook¨ I am not only no longer impressed but yeah, kind of offended to having to watch children killed on screen in gory ways for no reason, average movie it is simple exploitation.

It was child death for the shocking sake of it. The tone was off. Should have been a horror comedy but pretty much lost that premise after the first twenty minutes.

I dunno what movie you were watching, but the child death wasn't "for the shocking sake of it" it was literally centric to the film. It was a horror comedy through and through.

The Titanic sinks, Bruce Willis is a ghost, and Rosebud is a sled

a comedy? a man trying to eat his own son? cmon...I found it very serious and creepy

I hate horror/comedy hybrids, but I don't think this movie was that at all. It played straight like a horror film, though the underlying concept was humorous.
