I guess that makes this a retread of a retread of a retread.
I seriously doubt the people who made the fake trailer in 2010 knew about either episode of these two cartoons. It isn't uncommon for people to think of similar story ideas. Not every idea is brand new and original, and sometimes multiple people can think of the same story. There are 7,000,000,000+ people on this planet. Surely, a number of us can all think of the same story idea without knowing each other.
And even if the idea isn't the most original, what's most important is how the idea is executed on screen, anyway.
