Stormare?

So what happened to Peter Stormare?!
I gather he was arrested?
Maybe?
Seemed a crap way to vanish him from the movie.
Almost as murky as the horrible digital picture that marred the finale FX.

Started good, but then plodded for 50 mins before rushing to a darkly filmed climax that was generally average all told.
Surprisingly low body count and too many of the kills were badically off screen.

I don't really know. I only looked up whenever he was on screen as he's brilliant and I don't like clowns (it was my husband that was watching). I gave the film 5 for his performance alone, ha ha. But he did seem to just kinda fade away near the end, but I can't say for sure as I was only casually viewing.

One can assume that he was arrested at Chuck E. Cheese, on suspicion of the kids who were killed/eaten.

Maybe if there is a sequel this could be explained further.

I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands!

According to director and screenplay writer Jon Watts in an interview with Fangoria, he said the character played by Peter Stormare was shot in the shoulder by an officer because he wouldn't put down the axe. He was rushed back to the hospital where ironically he had the exact same room in the hospital as he had when he had the car accident with Kent. He later recovered and was released when the police found Kent decapitated in a clown suit.
