chuck e cheese

I love how they are at a chuck e cheese and anyone who has ever been to one knows the rats face is plastered everywhere... I don't remember seeing chuckecheese I'm the car reflection when I saw it a year ago... I feel like they added and reshot some of this for American release. Can anyone verify?

I didn't even notice it was supposed to be Chuck e Cheese until the credits. They totally edited those bits out for some reason. Maybe they initially gave approval but then had second thoughts when they saw the initial footage or something.

Interesting. I remember the Wife's Friend saying something about "Maybe you should've had the Party at Chuck E. Cheese" at the start of the movie.

I saw one female employee signaling the frightened Crowd out after the kid is killed in the Play tunnels and goes down the Slide. :D

I remember her wearing Khaki pants and a uniform Shirt. I wore a similar uniform working for Sea World ages ago from 1999-2007. (It changed to Six flags, and finally Geauga Lake before shutting down recently)

I hated wearing the uniform. (Khaki Shorts optional) Especially working outdoors the majority of the time. So hot.

There are two employees in the very first shot inside the place, with a third one walking in from the right while the camera pans to follow him until he closes a door with a bloody hand print on the other side. The next shot is the wife and that other guy talking inside the car with a very noticeable, digitally added reflection of the sign obscuring their faces. These things are impossible to miss if you are actually watching the screen.

And like the other poster said, it doesn't even take 10 seconds after the title card for someone to say "should have dumped them all off at Chuck E. Cheese!"

Yea pretty simple. The reflection of the Chuck E. Cheese sign was on the front window of the car when Meg and Karlsson were sitting out front. That was there way of establishing the location. However, they clearly used some other arcade place for all the interior shots as it did not feature any Chuck E. Cheese brands or merchandise.

I wonder if Chuck E. Cheese had second thoughts about being involved with the film? Does the film even have to get official permission to use the name? If they never shot anything inside an actual Chuck E. Cheese maybe they don't have to give approval since they just did the one exterior shot?

Have to wonder why CEC would EVER get involved with a film like this where kids are murdered, have blood running down the slide and even before that someone pees in the ball pit? Not to mention the mad panic of people rushing to the exits that are carelessly left open so any nutcase can wander in... Hmm.

That was not an actual Chuck E. Cheese towards the end of the movie. I was a General Manager for Chuck E. for years and none of the restaurants look like that. Managers where dress shirt and tie, the crew uniforms are not yellow, the floors are always carpeted, and the ball crawl area would never be that dark. Dark areas in a kid's restaurant? Plus, the music is wrong. Chuck E plays their own videos with their own music, not techno stuff.
