Good film but kind of pointless

I mean we really don't learn much about Dahmer from the film that we didn't already know. If I had been his neighbor Pamela Bass I would not have even done this film unless I was paid good money for it. I'd rather not talk about it and just get on with my life. I guess it's good they got the interview footage with Pat Kennedy right before he died though.

I disagree. For one thing, I don't think there's a lot new to learn about Dahmer.

This documentary was for people who already know about him, have done their research, and are continually fascinated. Now we're getting three very intimate perspectives talking about their own personal experiences of being close to Dahmer in some way and how it impacted their lives.

I really enjoyed it.

The guy we're meeting with can't even grow his own hair?!? COME ON!!!-Gob

I didn't realize Pat Kennedy had died until you mentioned it. Sorry to hear that.

I found this film moderately interesting, but it didn't provide many new details of relevance about Jeffrey Dahmer – just some very interesting trivia. I found the bit about Dahmer wearing the striped shirt of Kennedy's son particularly interesting, but again, not particularly useful in understanding the horrors of Dahmer's crimes.

As for Pamela Bass, I suspect she was seeking money or perhaps notoriety in participating in this film, though at times this feels like personal therapy for her. Her recollections don't add much here, in my opinion.

The re-enactments of Dahmer's various transactions and interactions were awkwardly acted, poorly directed and completely unnecessary here. The momentum from the interviews ground to a halt during those scenes.

I expected very little from this film, and I got slightly more than I anticipated as a result. 6/10 stars from me.
