Well, as much as I've hated the judge's decisions over the last few weeks, I've already invested too much time into this show to quit watching it now. I just read the preview of this week's show and they have to come up with the songs on their own.

I suppose this means, no more teams. Of the remaining four, who do you think has the advantage? Even though I think it's safe to say that Sonyae is going to win this thing, the fact that she doesn't play an instrument could be a huge factor going down the stretch but to some degree, I think Scotty has an advantage working solo because of his ability to come up with good melodies.

Scotty, I agree, he definitely has the advantage... although I don't think he has the lyrical strength that Sonyae does.

Spoiler:Jes gets eliminated this week, I'm 100% sure.

i've noticed that even though Scotty has won a fair amount of hook challenges, the hook melody (and sometimes even the entire structure of the hook) gets changed with the final song. i dunno if that's Scotty refining it, or the input of others being taken to heart...but it could have an impact on his solo works.

I was surprised how much I liked both of the girls songs in tonight's episode... I really liked Jes', and since I had thought she was going home (long story), I was worried, but she didn't! I think Sonyae is DEFINITELY going to win this. No question.
