Jes's last song is stuck in my head

I was just looking out the window at my desk at work and the phrase "I can see through you, I can see through you" came out of my mouth. I wondered what the hell that was then remembered... Guess that's a sure sign of a catchy song!

Yeah, it is really catchy. I love the chorus.

I loved it, too... I was surprised how much I liked her song this week. Although her overall performance may not have been as strong as Nick's, this song was definitely stronger than his.

I always have "it's you, it's you, it's you, it's you, it's...you." in my head. XD

"Secrets, secrets, are no fun. Secrets, secrets, hurt someone."

that song reminded me a lot of Regina Spektor... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zA4oG4FJFY

in retrospect, Jes should have gotten as much flack as Nick for all of her songs sounding the same. they all have the quick/choppy worded verses and hooks that try too hard to sound like an Apple commercial (and fall flat in the process).

even with the "judging" on a 'per-song' basis, Jes shouldn't have gotten as far as she did -- and she certainly did not deserve to be in the top 3 if songs were based on a collective judgment.

I agree that Jes shouldn't have been there but my take on it is that they needed to put two people in the finals that Sonyae could most likely beat. Jes just happened to be one of those two. Although, Scotty is a decent songwriter, it was going to be easier for the judges to nitpick his final song. I think several of the other contestants were in fact better than Scotty too.

But yeah "It's You" was stuck in my head for a while.

It's a catchy tune, I like the studio version but that one line in the song does suck. It's the line when she says "from your smell to your sentences" LOL!! I wouldn't say "sentences" in a song when using it to describe someone. hehehe.. cute line but shouldn't be in a song.
