Tip to site moderators/managers and anyone else: When a user looks to IMBd for an idea of whether or not a film is worth their time, a user review written by the writer/director/everything else of the film is an immediate, great big NO, run away and don't look back. Yes, Flood Reed, I am looking directly at you. Self-promotion is bad form and reflects poorly on you as a 'professional'. Despite what you seem to believe, it is a very effective way to frighten away potential viewers. If a film is really good, genre fans will spread the word. There will be trolls but we spot them easily and their opinions are given no merit. They can't hurt a good movie.
