short 2011 Rumble review

Very cool show overall. The opener Edge vs. Ziggler was awesome, and Miz vs. Orton was pretty good as well. They don't look like much on paper, just have to see them to see how great they are.

The Royal Rumble match was one of the best ever. The last GREAT one is still probably 1992, but the 2000's saw a couple great ones as well. The fact that 2011's edition was the first ever to have a 40-man roster made it great by that alone!

There were many interesting spots.

John Morrison getting pushed off the ring apron, and landing on the barricade like Spiderman in front of the fans, walking on it like a tightrope, and jumping back onto the steps, getting back in the ring was far out.

The whole bit with Hornswoggle was hilarious, surprised he lasted as long as he did. Well John Cena helped.

The members of the New Nexus teaming up in the ring and dominating everyone for a while was pretty cool.

Of course, the return of Booker T, and especially Diesel (they didn't do so well though).

And the shocker surprise ending, oh my gosh..... I almost (beep) myself.

I haven't watched WWE in so long, I have no idea who Alberto Del Rio is, but I was absolutely shocked...... What's weird, Hornswoggle actually lasted longer in the match than Del Rio (9:39 to 9:33).

Anyway, to the stats of 2011, the top 5 endurance:

1. CM Punk -------- 35:19
2. John Cena ------ 34:15
3. Wade Barrett --- 22:22
4. Kofi Kingston -- 21:03
5. Daniel Bryan --- 20:54

The rest of 'em 10+ minutes:

6. Rey Mysterio --- 19:06
7. Sheamus -------- 18:15
8. Husky Harris --- 15:47
9.Mike McGillicuddy-15:06
10.John Morrison -- 13:21
11.Santino Marella- 12:55
12.Ted Dibiase Jr - 12:16
13.David Otunga --- 11:50

Alot more endurance this year. Wade Barrett lasted 12 seconds longer than the top guy last year (John Cena - 22:10).

I already love this show, they did something a bit different, but it's a great show overall.
