Was there two spirits?

I noticed this movie used a piercing high pitched sound for toby's appearances unlike the low bass used in the previous movies. I noticed when they summoned bloody mary there was a low bass rumble. They may have used the low bass in other parts but I can't remember if it was ever used for Toby specifically. I figured it was bloody mary in the sheet because whoever was in it wasn't tall. What do you guys think?
