I'm dying to know the origin of those green cups and plates they kept using in the series, in kind of mint green/jade.
Where were they from? Vintage or modern? I want the exact shade and I'm going nuts searching :)

I've only watched three episodes of Season 1, but it sounds like you're talking about Fire King Jadeite dishes which were popular during the era of the show.

I'm fairly certain they are the Wood's Ware Beryl dishes. They come in a variety of colors.
