I don't care what anyone says about this movie. I LOVED IT!!! Just watch it to have a good time and see something that happened and made history. I loved everything about it. Just watched it on VUDU and loved it so much I watched it twice b2b. There aren't a lot of movies that do that anymore. Can't say it any better than that. Give it a chance.

It actually is really well done. There are some inaccuracies in it but it is more accurate than many horse movies are.
Casey's Shadow, Phar Lap and Champions are three other good horse racing movies.
I watched for Christian Kane, and of course I loved him. And the ending. Those were the highlights.
It's not that it wasn't a good movie, it just wasn't MY kind of movie. It was just okay. If Christian hadn't been in it, I probably wouldn't have seen it. I certainly wouldn't have watched it twice.
I really hated the strife between Chip and Alex. They were both pretty unbearable for awhile there.
I did cry at the ending, at least this time (I don't remember if I did the first time), but I'm kind of a big sap.
