A great film.

I thought the boards would be jam packed here for this film.

If you've read Piers Paul Read's book "Alive" and been as thrilled as I was then you should track this documentary film down.

It was very interesting to hear from the experts who re-traced Nando Parrado And Robert Canessa's trek through the frozen Andes mountains.

And of course,
It's always a pleasure to listen to Nando Parrado speak.

I read the original "Survive!" paperback about the event. It was horrible. I am really anxious to watch this documentary.

Yeah this was really interesting. Going back to the site and providing the perspective on exactly how much ground Parrado and Canessa covered was interesting. It also provided the most detail on exactly what errors the pilots made. It's hard to believe they made such a basic navigational error in such a critical situation (flying between two huge peaks). I also can't imagine what Nando's father went through... first he thinks he's lost his wife, daughter and son, then he gets his son back. And my goodness, I kinda feel bad bringing this up, but Nando's sister Suzy was beautiful.... shame her life ended so violently.
