Only one boat during invasion. None behind that boat? An empty beach? Story seemed good and deserved a bigger budget. Honestly, I couldn't watch any further. One star.

A Sherman DD makes (oddly, with a squarish turret) the beach, and a German 76mm PAK-40 is maybe 50 yards away and misses 5 times.
This just keeps getting better. If you paid your money, as I also did, you should have enjoyed it for the comedy.
Also, I have to say, the interviews at the end, like Band of Brothers, ARE pretty good. Like all of these, they tug at your heart.
