Well, in all honesty, it makes sense for the mother to worry the most. Because people are selfish, they only think about their own survival. If you were in their place, would you care about everyone else or just your own life?
Besides, they all wander around to look for the child. The whole story revolves around the baby and saving it.

I couldn't believe that the mother took the baby out at night on that weird adventure in the first place, instead of having the babysitter keep it back at the hotel. It's ridiculous how some people take newborn infants everywhere they go (e.g. fairs, concerts, movies), instead of getting a sitter.
