Very disappointing.

shareWhy is he a perv? There have been hundreds and maybe thousands of high school sex comedies and dramas produced by Hollywood since the 1960s, most which include full frontal nudity or at least topless teens. Why shouldn't this one?
I get the director/producer were probably trying to be tasteful and artistic by side-stepping the nudity, but "Blue Is the Warmest Color" (also about teen lesbos) was profoundly artistic while also practically X-rated, and it worked wonderfully!

TnA?
Do you mean "T&A"?
The CHARACTERS are minors, not the actresses. Nichole Bloom had nude scenes in "Shameless" two seasons ago. Do people not know the difference between fiction and reality? If you write a book about underage sex, like "White Bird in a Blizzard" or "Undiscovered Gyrl", there's no problem, and if you put over-18 actresses in those roles (Shailene Woodley or Britt Robertson) there's no problem if they're naked. It's only if you use underage ACTRESSES--and that's only true in America today because all our teenagers are virgins and there are no sex offenders at all in this land of moral purity.
Regardless, in a movie with a whole lot of sex, it doesn't work very well to avoid ALL nudity, and there's no REASON for it if the actresses are over 18 and one of them has already done plenty of it.

Actually, many films of the 70s and 80s have featured nude legally underage girls. Then they started only casting 19 year old girls for parts that required T&A (e.g. Phoebe Cates in Fast Times). Today, though, teen sex comedies that require nude scenes will only use girls in their mid-20s, to play it safe.
