This movie needs more attention.

It's won numerous international awards, and has a high IMDB rating. I personally think it's a wonderful movie, and so do most who've seen it. However, most people, even film-lovers, in the United States probably don't have an inkling that it exists. I'm a fairly knowledgeable cinephile in San Francisco, and I only found out about this film yesterday through pure chance (from a comment on a website). There is only one review of the film on Rotten Tomatoes, and no plans (that I know of) for distribution in America. We should get some type of campaign started, because I think this film deserves it, compared to most of the obscure and well-made film debuts in world cinema. If Anand Gandhi makes another superb film, then he will doubtlessly get much more attention, but it will be for THAT movie, and not his debut. Perhaps once he becomes a legendary director with 4 or 5 masterpieces to his name, many more people will seek out his debut and make it famous, but why wait that long?
