Fantastic, and I don't even like sushi.

I would never have chosen to watch this, but I went with someone and loved it despite my skepticism of the subject matter. I didn't leave craving any sushi, but I loved this movie for the beautiful was it was shot and scored, and its study of someone who spends their life crafting their art into perfection. Awe inspiring.

I'm not a fan of sushi either, although I was looking forward to this based on the trailer simply because the sushi was so stunning. It's a beautiful form of food even if not, in my opinion, a delicious one.

This was such a well-crafted documentary though, and Jiro and his family present such a fascinating story. It made me want to try harder at life.

I love sushi, so it made it even better.

I'm a vegetarian for ethical reasons, and I love this movie. I squirmed at a couple slices but it's more about a man and his striving to live as well as possible, than it is about making fish-food.
