Do you like your job?

This movie inspired me...I don't really know anyone who loves their job like Jiro does. In the beginning of the film, it's said that Jiro doesn't like the holidays because it's too long, and twice Jiro and another man says that "It's not about money". More quotes that stood out to me:

"Once you decide on your occupation... you must immerse yourself in your work. You have to fall in love with your work. Never complain about your job. You must dedicate your life to mastering your skill. That's the secret of success... and is the key to being regarded honorably."

"These days the first thing people want is an easy job. Then, they want lots of free time. And then, they want lots of money. But they aren't thinking of building their skills. When you work at a place like Jiro's, you are committing to a trade for life."

I feel like the above quote is so true...I think most people I know just want to make money, and don't really care about what job it is-they just tolerate it. But there's no passion or joy behind it.

So anyways, do you like your job? And what's your dream job(if you're not there yet)?

Sometimes....

I like my occupation, sometimes. I do screen printing, and there is a great deal of satisfaction in mixing the paints, laying the frames and then preparing, setting up and executing a complex, multicolour print - by hand.
I do not however like my workplace, as I find it uncaring, overly demanding and run by two people who I more and more feel are some kind of semi crooks.

Sadly though, there are not a great many places to chose from...so for now I'll go on occasionally enjoying my job while simultaniously despising the place where I do that job.

Nope. This movie came about at a good time for me to be honest, I've been doing a lot of reflection recently about my job and what I might do that would satisfy me more.
