Fraud?

OK, I get that Jiro trained all the chefs but if it was his son's food the Michelin critics ate, shouldn't HE, not Jiro, been awarded the 3 stars and gotten to meet that famous french food snob and wore medals and all that? No wonder the son looked sad and defeated the whole movie, his rightful fame was snatched from him by old dad who refuses to hand over the restaurant. Jiro even got a photo op when the Jaoanese Prime Minster took President Obama there. The son's nowhere in sight. That sucks.
Despite that, good movie anyway.
