Smart Guy anyone?

Did this feel like a more poorly done version of the late 90s show 'Smart Guy' to anyone? Think about it:
Smart Guy - a ten year old certified genius child prodigy entering high school
A.N.T Farm - an eleven year old musical prodigy entering high school (which by the way did not make sense to me in the first place, wouldn't that mean she would only excel in music? Like what about math or english? Wouldn't she still have a fifth grade understanding of everything else? At least in smart guy he was gifted in all areas academically so it made more sense for him to be in high school.)
Smart Guy - Ended up in same school as his older siblings, to the great annoyance of his older brother
A.N.T Farm - Ended up in same school as her older brother, to the great annoyance of him also.
Smart Guy - Father is the main adult role model in TJs life
A.N.T Farm - Father is the main adult role model in Chyna's life
Smart Guy - Father is very apprehensive about TJ going to high school
A.N.T Farm - Father is very apprehensive about Chyna going to high school
Smart Guy - TJ has various run ins with teachers and students who do not know how to handle him
A.N.T Farm - Chyna has various run ins with teachers and students who do not know how to handle her
Smart Guy - Older brother feels unextraordinary in comparison to his little brother, is considered unintelligent and is the butt of the joke most of the time
A.N.T Farm - Older brother feels unextraordinary in comparison to his little sister, is considered unintelligent and is the butt of the joke most of the time
Smart Guy - TJ spouts out random facts that no one else seems to really care about
A.N.T Farm - Olive spouts out random facts that no one else seems to really care about

The premise feels very similar to that of Smart Guy which, although made me apprehensive in the originality aspect, also made me hopeful that this would take some notes from its predecessor. Sadly, the general premise and finer details is all this took from Smart Guy. It's a shame really, Smart Guy was a hilarious, very clever show that I'll always remember as one of the best. I go back and watch it now and I'm still laugh my butt off at it, even as an 18 year old. A.N.T Farm sort of missed all of that.

I guess this show more or less took the premise but missed the quality, sense and heart of smart guy.

But how can you prove for SURE that I don't go to Hogwarts??
