Wreck-It Ralph 2 is happening

But, will Alan Tudyk return? We all know what happened to King Candy in the first movie...I mean, unlike John Ratzenberger at Pixar, Tudyk does have a range of different voices (he also voiced the Duke in Frozen, Krei in Big Hero 6 and Weaselton in Zootopia), so he could voice a different character.

But, anyway, I'M *beep* EXCITED!!!

Bad idea, this film's story was resolved. Why are Disney and Pixar aspiring to be like DreamWorks and Blue Sky now?

I think the sequel could work...given how kids today would rather play on smartphones and/or tablets...or would just try to stay connected to the internet, the sequel could focus on that sort-of social commentary.

I don't think there will be an overabundance of Disney sequels like the current slate of Pixar films...'Wreck-It Ralph 2' is slated for 2018, and 'Frozen 2' still doesn't have a release date yet, so it could be 6 films in between those two. There are no words on other Disney films getting sequels, so, I don't think it should be a concern.

However, IF the sequel sucks (I said "IF"), then I don't have to acknowledge it...not everyone has to acknowledge bad sequels in a franchise. Just like how 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' acknowledges the original trilogy and ignores most of the prequels.

While sequels can be ignored, they still take up resources and release schedule dates. And I can come up with good sequel ideas to many films too, it doesn't mean Disney will.

Fair... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Alan Tudyk could return as a cameo-voice, but hopefully not as Turbo. I mean, his story is over.
