The ending killed the entire movie for me

I really liked the movie, and had so much sympathy for Vanellope, until the very end after she becomes the game's princess and everyone loves her again.

When the little girl in the real world is racing as her in the game, Vanellope is still able to use that glitch, and glitch past right in front of the other racers! She cheated and it's not fair. the other racers are gonna be mean to her all over again!

I agree that using the "glitch power" to pass other cars and win races is wildly unfair and, quite possibly, just overt cheating. But that and the princess thing didn't ruin it. In my opinion the first half of the movie was fantastic and the second half not as much. Still solid overall.

I agree about the two halves of the movie, it's like you've changed channel or something and started watching something else entirely. It goes from Wreck-it Ralph which seems quite dark but comical into some kind of Candy Racing Movie that's bright and girly and that just isn't as interesting. Still, a good movie though. But a really strange thing to do.

I agree that there's more than enough girly candy stuff, but IMHO the candy world is a fantastic place to hold the final battle against the bugs! I love the weirdness of the bright candified bugs, and the kiddy-level cutesiness of the world makes the bug monster much more horrific than it would be in a more normal setting.
