Both of my parents have been to the all of the Continental 48. Im only up to 12, mostly eastern, but im making it my duty to visit all 50, including U.S. territories.

I'm 25 and I've been to all but 15.

I HAVEN'T been to Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North/South Dakota (all too centralized when I did my West Coast trips.) Then also, the very north, north eastern states. Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. And then of course Hawaii and Alaska.

And I've been poor all my life. It's just traveling is something I was made to do. Don't know why, my father is the same way but we have to fly away a lot of times and hit the road it seems (doesn't bode well for relationships tho)

I drove to California from Florida on a whim one time. Ended up living out of my car there for a month. Rarely getting showers except when I stayed in their Hostels. I finally moved in to a place with roommates. All with very little cash.

Point is, if you want to go see the country just do it... it is VERY possible. with even very little cash. That is if you have a winning personality of course :)

I think I'm up to 26. I'm missing most of the Midwest and the upper western states like Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, etc. Alo, the Carolinas. I've been up and down the East Coast, but I still haven't been to either of the Carolinas.

You haven't been to Florida? Now, that is amazing!

I guess that's true.

I still find it amazing that some who has been to places like Arkansas hasn't gotten to Florida, though. (I grew up in Louisiana, and even I haven't been to Arkansas yet.) You would have thought a meeting or a vacation would have gotten you there at some point by now...

When you do get there, I recommend St. Augustine. :)

I've been to every state but Hawaii (none of the territories), every Canadian province/territory but Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, and several countries.

Still hoping to make it to Hawaii someday....

I am missing:
Hawaii,Colorado,Washington,Oregon,New Mexico,Arizona,Nevada, and Utah.(I think those are all I have missed)

My hubby has been to all but Hawaii and he drove to every one of those-he says he will not go to Hawaii until he can drive there. LOL

I think if someone gave him a free trip he would be willing to fly or go by boat though. ;-)

The strangest state I haven't been in is North Carolina, because I've been in all four states that border it and all of the other southern states (West Virginia isn't considered a southern state, is it?) I came close once when I visited a cousin in Virginia Beach.

I've been in all the western states except AK, HI and WY.

My least visited state was Kansas. I got off I-44 where KS, MO and OK meet looking for a three-corners monument I never found. I did drive thru Galena on my way to Joplin, MO. I have been to the four corners monument. Has anyone heard of a three-state monument anywhere?

I've been to eight, and found five of them to be uninteresting.
