I keep trying to watch this show, but fall asleep 20 mins into it.

So get more sleep at night, dingus.

You are hard to please if you find this boring. It is a pretty good series-perhaps the history channel is not the channel for you....Go find a movie channel or some channel full of mindless crap.

The show borders on being "mindless crap," consisting mostly of weak attempts at humor by the host, irrelevant trivia, anecdotes from locals who are not authorities, a silly game where people play with large colored cutouts of states, digressions far from the titular subject, and plenty of incorrect information. I find myself continuously wishing they'd get to the topic and stop goofing around.
