How Come Frankie Never Heard of a Lawsuit?

That is all I could think of as I watched this movie. Plus, if I was Frankie, the first thing I would have done would be to tell Lassie. And Jack. The Frankie character? What a spineless idiot.

I wanted to like it. I have liked other movies with Chris O'Dowd, which is why I watched it in the first place. Yet there was not one character that I found likeable. Well, maybe Lassie, but if she was stupid enough to get further involved with noodle brained Frankie and his asinine family, well...

I was so tense by the middle of the film that I was just longing for it to be over. There were so many impossibilities in this plot, it made my head hurt.
I am willing to suspend disbelief, I have seen and liked some pretty dopey films - I have given movies with a 3.2 rating a go - but this movie just asked for far too much.

It's explained that in the case of forced takedowns, it's likely the video will be saved because it possibly contains a "celebrity," and that it's better to just let the 72 hours run their course.

I wasn't specifically referring to the "sex tape". Just in general, why didn't Frankie distance himself from his family if they were so dysfunctional and he wanted a normal life? These shenanigans had been going on all his life.

You can be involved with family without letting them drag you down. It's called boundaries. "You seem to feel that I have no right to privacy. Therefore, for my own well being, until you can respect me, I think it's best that we limit our time together."

He did. He was living in a trailer out in the middle of the desert. He only came back because his brother was coming out of rehab and appeared to be starting a new life. He wanted to be supportive.

Did you not watch the movie? He was intent on keeping his distance, but Lassie hit him with her bike and he decided that the best place to take her was his nearby family home. He crossed that family boundary first.
