So WHAT happened to this?

Watched this last night (and hunted like heck to find info on what I watched- I didn't catch the opening and the motel cable system never once showed the name of this obvious pilot). For once, a female lead character that didn't come off trying to use her wiles, just savvy, and convincing-ness to get an apparent bored but brilliant man (who turns out to be a high end NYC litigator) involved in truly assisting people caught up in legal situations. This pilot had smarts and not a drop of sappiness, or nastiness that seems to be the hallmark of TV today. Part of the enjoyment of watching this was noting the smart script and it actually passed on the feel of being out amongst the town of Vegas (versus the strip) at oh-dark-thirty A.M.
