My money is on the Gypsies. They have been nigh unstoppable throughout this whole competition, and unless they royally screw up in the finale I see no reason as to why they won't win.
Which is a shame because I really wanted No Limits to win. But, with Ike's leg injury slowing them down there's no possible way that they'll be able to keep up with the rest of the teams. I wish them the best, anyway!
Last Film Seen: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (10/10)
Well at least Fab 3 came in behind No LImits, so to me that was a good finale :)
Even at the end, AJ could not get himself to be happy for the Gypsies, contrarily to No Limits. No limits was what made the show exciting to my wife and I, and they have been awesome throughout.
The main problem of the show was the disparity in hiking/ adventuring experiences in the teams. If you are going to make this kind of show, either get -all- inexperienced- or -ALL- experienced teams with balanced backgrounds.
Mixing 3-4 teams of athletes/ experienced hikers with a whole bunch of joe blow (no offense to the Cops or Firefighter teams) = not so god. On top of that, having 1 -2 teams of super competitive world class hikers (Gypsies and No limits, though again kudos to them) kinda kills the suspense despite desperate attempts to keep some on the editing floor. It was often painfully obvious that the teams were separated by much larger leads than what they were telling us on screen.
Most predictebal winners ever, if this series survives the first season they need to make harder and more time consuming challanges to allow for a suprise winner. Wouldnt hurt to also have teams having to carry weight through large parts of the journey to balance out big people problems in rafts and small boats.
