I hadn't heard of this movie so I was interested to read the reviews. Needless to say, they weren't glowing.
But I needn't have bothered. All I needed to know was Owen Wilson in a comedy. At that point it's all over but the crying.
"Whatever happened to Fay Wray?"
Yeah, I thought the same thing. Owen "Oh wow!" Wilson just puts me to sleep.
shareI watched this movie on TV the other day, (through internet) and stopped it after about 40 minutes, it wasn't funny in the least and for some reason the character played by Imogen was just annoying.
shareThis is my favorite Owen Wilson movie now. I like him but he chooses comedies that are guaranteed to appeal to a certain young age group. Then he is fine in those comedies - for THAT audience. I thought he stepped up his game here and did a fine job.
